Proposal Terms and Conditions
Validity & Pricing:
• This estimate is valid for 15 days from the date of receipt.
• Manufacturer's equipment prices are subject to change without notice, impacting the final equipment prices.
Scope & Delivery:
• This proposal includes only the equipment, material, and labor explicitly listed.
• Additional materials and labor needed for installation will be identified as Adds or Changes to this proposal.
• All applicable shipping and handling charges will be applied to product invoices.
• Shipping costs are estimated to range from 3% to 5% of equipment costs for complete system orders. However, expedited shipping, bulky or heavy items, and individual telephone instrument orders may increase these costs.
Returns & Cancellation:
• Product returns fall under the discretion of CompuVision or Vision Communications. Canceled or returned product orders will incur a 25% restocking fee.
Billing & Payment:
• Proposals are categorized as either Fixed Fee bids or Time and Materials bids. Costs under a Time & Materials bid can vary.
• Some orders may require an Engagement Letter and/or a deposit.
Labor & Hours:
• The proposal assumes that labor will be conducted during regular business hours (8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday). Labor outside these hours will be subject to Overtime Rates.
Intellectual Property & Security:
• All designs, schematics, software, and configurations provided remain the intellectual property of CompuVision and Vision Communications, unless otherwise agreed upon.
• The provider will follow industry best practices to ensure the client's data security. Client must inform CompuVision and Vision Communications of any specific compliance or regulatory requirements.
Service Conditions:
• Service interruptions due to external factors like power outages, third-party failures, or natural disasters are beyond the provider's responsibility.
• Scheduled maintenance might require downtime, for which the provider will give at least 24 hour notice.
Liabilities & Responsibilities:
• Neither party holds liability for indirect, special, or consequential losses or damages.
• Clients must offer timely access to resources, personnel, and facilities necessary for service provision.
Terms Updates:
• The service provider may update these terms and conditions. Significant changes will be communicated in writing to the client.
